Bangui, Central African Republic - At the request of the NGO called Future Leaders Association of the Central African Republic and in connection with the UN International Day of Peace, Sept. 21, 2014, UPF-Central African Republic organized for members of the Association a seminar from Sept. 15 -17.
It covered the following topics: principles of Ambassadors for Peace, understanding the root cause of conflict, God and His original ideal for peace, character education and the culture of peace, education about HIV / AIDS, and principles for peacebuilding and conflict resolution.
The seminar culminated on Sept. 21 with the delivery of Ambassador for Peace certificates to 46 out of the 82 participants. Most members of the association are young people. Among them was a pastor who was touched by the teachings and wants to invite the presenters to his church, which is located 20 km from the capital, Bangui.
