UPF-Peru Plans Events for UN International Day of Peace 2015

Lima, Peru—UPF-Peru is planning two major events to commemorate the UN International Day of Peace 2015 in September.
In Comas, one of the largest districts in Lima that has a population of more than half a million, UPF-Peru is working with the mayor, Mr. Miguel Saldana, to hold a peace march on September 27. Members of the board of directors of UPF-Peru have been meeting with Mr. Saldana and his staff to coordinate the details.
In the Andean city of Ayacucho, our local representative, Ambassador for Peace Mr. Cesar Aguayo, is collaborating with the local mayor to organize a peace march and forum on the weekend of September 20.
