Suva, Fiji—International Day of Peace 2016 was celebrated with a program on Parents’ Education.
The program, held on September 21 in Amadhiya High School of Fiji, was organized by UPF-Fiji together with the Fijian chapters of two affiliated organizations—Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) and Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP)—as well as SRM of Fiji.
The 250 participants were high school teachers, students, parents, Ambassadors for Peace and UPF Board members.
Mr. Santosh Neupane, the chair of FFWPU-Fiji, gave a PowerPoint presentation on the topic “Parents’ Education.”
The participants were encouraged to practice the theme of International Day of Peace 2016: “The Sustainable Development Goals: Building Blocks for Peace.”
