Georgian Children Observe International Day of Peace

Ratevani, Georgia—More than 100 schoolchildren attended a UPF program about the main values of peace.
In commemoration of the UN International Day of Peace, UPF-Georgia representatives on September 23, 2019, visited a school in the village of Ratevani, located in Kvemo Kartli Region.
More than 100 students from 5th, 6th and 7th grades attended the program, along with their school principal and teachers. The students, who had created peace banners, became actively involved in the discussion. At the end of the program, they made a goal to promote peace in their classes.
