UPF-Ecuador Commemorates UN International Day of Peace

Quito, Ecuador—At the auditorium of “Benjamin Carrion de la Casa de Cultura Ecuatoriana,” UPF-Ecuador celebrated the UN International Day of Peace on September 19th 2019. Ambassadors for Peace, members of UPF and other guests made up a total of 130 persons who participated in this occasion under the theme of “Climate Action for Peace.”
The main program included a panel discussion about this year’s theme of climatic action, with four panelists. The four panelists were the following: Ing. Eduardo Armijos, university professor and representative of agricultural organizations in Ecuador; Bishop Luis Moreno, president of the Ecuador Chamber of Anglican Bishops; Fausto Segovia Baus, former minister of Education and Culture; and Eduardo Villarreal, educator and family psychologist.
UPF-Ecuador reaffirmed its determination to plant the culture of heart in all people.
