Georgia-2022-09-21-UPF-Georgia Observes International Day of Peace

Moscow, Russia—A well-known Russian athlete was interviewed online by UPF in a broadcast that reached 2,500 viewers.

In honor of the International Day of Peace, on September 21, 2022, Dmitry Samko, the leader of UPF-Moscow, interviewed Anton Losev in a broadcast titled “You Can Always Do Good.”

In addition to being an Ambassador for Peace, Mr. Losev is the “sports ambassador” of the charity project Sports for Good.

He is also a member of the Youth Parliament under the State Duma of the Russian Federation. He has completed the Ironman Triathlon and recently became the Russian record holder in swimming 50 kilometers in open water.

The topics discussed by the athlete related to sports, social areas, uniting children, people, our goals and motivations, as well as joint future projects.

Mr. Losev said: “Sports are where we come together. Sports are the norm of life!” These are the mottos that now unite many caring athletes, he said.

The broadcast generated a lot of interest on social networks and received about 2,500 views.
