Gangtok, Sikkim, India - Speakers at the March 8 observance of International Women's Day included Hon. Nima Tamang, Advisor to the Government of Sikkim and Vice-Chair of UPF-Sikkim; Hon. Bharati Sharma, Chair of the OBC Commission of the Government of Sikkim; Hon. Tilu Gurung, Minister of the Government of Sikkim; Hon. G. M. Gurung, Former Minister of the Government of Sikkim and Chair of UPF-Sikkim; Mrs. R. Ongmu Bhutia, Chair of the State Women's Commission of the Government of of Sikkim; and Dr. S.G. Tashi, Registrar Principal of ICFAI College.
