UPF-Russia organized programs in Moscow and Novosibirsk in commemoration of International Women's Day 2013.
Moscow - Representatives of the Universal Peace Federation and the Women's Federation for World Peace organized a festive meeting related to the International Women's Day under the slogan "The Peacemaking role of women in the family, country, and world" on March 9. The professionalism and femininity of Olga Vakulinskaya, President of the Women's Federation for World Peace in Moscow, and the interesting speeches created a bright and sincere atmosphere in the hall.

Vladislavleva; Chairman of the inter-ethnic women's club "Commonwealth" К.R.Kvazem; and others congratulated women on the occasion. Speeches alternated with songs and dances. Among the talented performers were the children's dancing group "Angels of Peace," winners of international music competitions, and young performers.
The Chairman of the Moscow branch of the Association of Georgians in Russia, Mr. I.V. Jimsheleishvili, and the Chairman of the LCD PDS N.M. Izoria delivered the final words.
At the end of the program, outstanding citizens were presented with Ambassador for Peace certificates. To the song "Mother," all women received flowers. The festive event was held in a warm and cordial atmosphere.
Novosibirsk - A meeting organized by the Universal Peace Federation took place on the eve of the International Women's Day, March 7. The participants of the event read the message of the UN Secretary-General on the need to counter violence against women and girls. Nadezhda Aleksandrovna Latrygina presented a report on how to prevent domestic violence. Young people who came to the meeting gave a small concert to inspire and to thank the leaders of the two women's organizations: Women's Initiative Creative Association of the Novosibirsk region and the Rehabilitation Center named after Sergei Khudyakov "Mothers against Violence and Drugs."
