International Women's Day Observed in Estonia

Tallinn, Estonia - On the occasion of the International Women’s Day 2014 UPF Estonia held an event on March 8. The program consisted of a musical presentation and presentations given by three speakers on the topic of “The Role of Women in Estonia/Ireland/Korea.”

Dr. Reet Pool was the first speaker. Dr. Pool is a psychologist and a long-time friend of UPF as well as an Ambassador for Peace.

The second speaker was Mary Hinterleitner, sharing historical data and developments of women’s roles in Irish history up to the present time.

The third speaker was Rev. Yu Sung Chal from Korea; he highlighted three remarkable women in the history of Korea and then concluded his presentation with insights into the life and work of UPF co-founder Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon.

All three presentations were professionally prepared and presented and much appreciated by those in attendance.

The 20 participants enjoyed the presentations and the sharing and refreshments that followed.
