The Universal Peace Federation, whose special consultative status with ECOSOC is based on its expertise in the area of interreligious dialogue, has consistently called for wider appreciation of interreligious dialogue as essential for peace and human development.
We stand at a turning point in the direction of the United Nations’ development agenda. 2015 provides real opportunities to shift from a narrow emphasis on short-term economic growth to truly valuing the environmental and social dimensions of development as well as the needs of future generations.

You are highly welcome in Jerusalem, the Holy City for all the monotheistic believers in the world. Over half of humanity—Muslims, Christians, Jews, Druze and others—have spiritual relations to Jerusalem and to the Holy Land, mainly in regard to the their Holy Scriptures, in which the creation of the world and humanity is described.
The aim of this short article is to present a Jewish holy site in the Jewish quarter of the old city of Jerusalem. This holy site does not need any definition of the status quo. Moreover, along its history, this place was not under any conflict (except during very few occasions) with the government authorities.

The Cooperative Biological Engagement Program, the U.S. Navy, and the U.S. Army have deployed six mobile labs to Liberia that are currently providing diagnostic capabilities that are so important to containing and reducing the Ebola Virus. These six mobile labs are enhancing the work already being done by three experts at the Liberian Institute for Biomedical Research lab.
