UPF Chairman Visits Chad to Give Briefings about UPF

Leadership Conference Held in Nairobi

Nairobi, Kenya - Twenty-five Nigerian Ambassadors for Peace traveled to Kenya to join UPF leaders from Benin, Uganda, Somalia, Eritria and Kenya for a Special Leadership Conference March 27–29, 2014 following up on the leadership conference in Korea the previous month.

Active Dreaming in Moscow

Moscow, Russia - Active dreaming—which is also called “lucid dreaming” and “conscious dreaming”—was the focus of the first International Festival of Active Dreams held at the Moscow Peace Embassy. Participants in the event, which took place on March 23, 2014, included leaders and members of charitable groups as well as contestants of the Mr. and Miss University pageant.

Abuja, Nigeria - UPF-Nigeria in collaboration with UPF-Ethiopia and Global Educators for All Initiative is pleased to announce the convening of a Special Leadership Conference March 27 – 29, 2014, at the African Union Commission headquarters and Nexus Hotels in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The conference is a local follow up to the February International Leadership Conference held in Korea and will provide opportunities to address issues of education, peace and human development on national and regional levels.

Conference Inaugurates UPF in Kindu, DR Congo

Kindu, DR Congo - UPF-DR Congo held an inaugural conference in Kindu in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo on Dec. 17, 2013 with 127 participants. Twenty-four new Ambassadors for Peace were appointed, including deputies, provincial ministers, physicians, high state officials, magistrates, religious leaders, traditional chiefs, a provincial director, and an editor for national television. The theme of the conference was "Conflicts in DR Congo: A Challenge for the Achievement of the MDGs."

Kindu, RD Congo - La FPU/RDCongo a tenu une conférence inaugurale à Kindu le 17 décembre 2013. 127 participants était au rendez-vous dont 24 nouvelles personnalités étaient nominées Ambassadeurs pour la Paix (députés, Ministres Provinciaux, Médécins, Hauts fonctionnaires de l'Etats, Magistrats, Religieux, Chefs coutumiers, Directeur Provincial, Editeur de la télévision Nationale) sous le thème : ''Conflits en RDCongo: un défi pour la réalisation des OMD''.
