Moscow, Russia - A workshop on Unification Thought entitled the ”Dual Characteristics of the Universe and Original Human Nature” took place in Moscow on November 11. UPF-Russia Secretary General Konstantin Krylov discussed the origin of the universe and human beings; the existence of the wise Creator and His plan; and the purpose and meaning of human life.

Tokyo, Japan - “The 50th Anniversary of Independence and the 20th Anniversary of the Democratization of the Republic Benin” was celebrated in Tokyo on November 2, with the participation of nearly 100 people, including many Ambassadors for Peace.

Dushanbe, Tajikistan - On October 29, the trade-union organization together with the Universal Peace Federation held a meeting celebrating the 75th anniversary of Komsomol (Young Communists League). The event was attended by former Komsomol activists who became prominent figures in different spheres.

Nuremberg, Germany - UPF-Nuremberg held its third annual conference on the topic “Universal Values – Paving the path to overcome religious and cultural Conflicts” on October 23. Twenty-six guests from Christian, Muslim, and Buddhist communities attended along with some 50 UPF members.

Baku, Azerbaijan - A workshop on Unification Thought for professors and educators took place September 26 in Baku, Azerbaijan. Such programs add discussions of values to the peacemaking process. Topics included moral education, causes of conflicts, dialogue between Islam and Christianity, and philosophical and historical aspects of the alignment of forces in the modern world.

London, UK - UPF Chairman, Rev. Hyung Jin Moon, traveled to several nations in Europe in August 2010 visiting UPF volunteers, Ambassadors for Peace, and members of the Unification faith community in Italy, France, Germany and the United Kingdom.
