Kabul, Afghanistan - Throughout the year of 2010 UPF-Afghanistan has been giving Basic Peace Seminars to young Afghanis educating them to become peacemakers and serve their community.

New York, USA - Despite the sudden outbreak of renewed hostilities between the two Koreas, UPF Founder Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon has reiterated his firm belief that a new era of lasting peace is close at hand. His confident prediction came at the conclusion of the UPF World Assembly 2010, which drew a crowd of over 3,000 at the Manhattan Center in New York on November 22.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia - Administrators from the Mongolian University of Science and Technology asked UPF-Mongolia to arrange a visit to Seoul National University in Korea, which took place November 11-18. This request grew out of the participation of Mongolians in eight recent international leadership seminars with their counterparts in Asian nations.

Jakarta, Indonesia - UPF-Indonesia has initiated a series of Ambassadors for Peace Leadership Conferences with a meeting on the theme of “The Role of Ambassadors for Peace at a Time of Global Crisis” at the UPF Peace Center on November 18.

San Pedro, Cote d'Ivoire - The port city and beach resort of San Pedro welcomed UPF staff for a ceremony to appoint new Ambassadors for Peace on November 14. During an election campaign, it is not easy to mobilize people, but 150 people came to learn about UPF's peace principles.
