Leadership Seminar in Honiara

Honiara, Solomon Islands - A leadership seminar took place in Honiara on May 21. The seven participants, who had attended an introductory seminar one month earlier, included two high school principals, two media representatives, two community leaders, and one student.

UPF Founders' Tour to Ten Nations, 2011

On April 24, in Incheon, Korea, Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon initiated the Founders’ Tour 2011 dedicated to the theme of Building a World of Universal Peace at a Time of Global Crisis. The tour took them to Europe and concluded on May 21 in Las Vegas in the United States.

UPF Founder Speaks in Berlin

Berlin, Germany - Crowds packed the avant-garde Tempodrom in Berlin two nights in a row to see the Little Angels Children's Folk Ballet in their thank-you tour to veterans who defended freedom in Korea six decades ago and to hear UPF Founder Rev. Sun Myung Moon challenge Germans to lift up the banner of peace in our time.

London, UK - Returning to London for the first time since founding the UPF in 2005, Dr. and Mrs. Sun Myung Moon said they had 'great expectations' for their visit, which culminated in both of them giving public addresses on May 11, first with a special event in the Houses of Parliament.

UPF Founder Speaks in Athens

Athens, Greece - On May 3, Rev. Sun Myung Moon announced that he wanted to give his proclamation "Building a World of Universal Peace at a Time of Global Crisis" in Athens, the birthplace of European civilization. As a result some 500 Unificationists and Ambassadors for Peace eagerly converged the next day in the capital of Greece for the fourth speech of the European leg of the UPF Founders’ World Tour.

Founders' Tour Arrives in Athens

We learned at very short notice that the UPF Founder, Rev. Sun Myung Moon, would give a public address in Athens on May 4 at the Athens Ledra Marriott Hotel. Ambassadors for Peace in Greece were given a special invitation to this special program, sponsored by the Universal Peace Federation on the theme, "Building a World of Universal Peace at a Time of Global Crisis." This program was part of the Founders' European Peace tour which began in Madrid on April 25.

Oslo, Norway - A European Leadership Conference sponsored by the Universal Peace Federation and Women’s Federation for World Peace was held in Oslo, Norway, on April 30 and May 1. Distinguished delegates from many European countries were in attendance.

Oslo, Norway - A warm spell melted the fjord and brought trees two bloom came two weeks early in southern Norway, as if welcoming the UPF Founders Dr. and Mrs. Sun Myung Moon and their message of building a world of universal peace at a time of global crisis.
