Tamale, Ghana - Europeans participating in the Youth Service Initiative raised funds and went to Ghana to help build a resource center to give children and youth opportunities for recreation, personal development, and access to books and other educational materials.  In addition, we held forums in various locations on religion, discovering one's talents, life planning, and cultural differences between our countries.

Konstantin Krylov, Deputy Secretary General of UPF-Eurasia, spoke before the audience on “Conflicts and ways to solve them."

Tbilisi, Georgia - More than 200 paper doves made by children in the Urals region of Russia with messages of peace, friendship and goodwill for children in Georgia arrived in Georgia in March 2010, in response to messages of goodwill from Georgia students sent the previous September.

Cap-Haitien, Haiti - Since the January 12 earthquake, International Relief Friendship Foundation representatives have made three trips to the country providing relief work. In addition, $9,000 has been spent by IRFF on domestic and overseas shipping costs, to deliver donated food and medical supplies to the north coast of Haiti.

Portland and Kingston, Jamaica - Eleven young people from the US traveled to Jamaica for a Religious Youth Service project Feb. 22-March 7, 2010, that included building fence in Portland, painting fences and walls in Kingston, making home visits, participating in a forum and making trips to historic sites.
