International Women's Day Observed in Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - "Inspiring Change" was the theme of a UN International Women's Day program at the Peace Embassy in Petaling Jaya on March 8. Ms Wong May Syn gave a talk about “Self-Development and the Art of Being Happy.”
Women were invited to wear national attire to the dinner and evening entertainment celebrating the role of women in families and society. Japanese and Korean women gave performances celebrating their culture, and YBhg Tan Sri Devaki Krishnan, President of UPF-Malaysia, gave the closing remarks.
The program was organized by the Malaysian chapters of UPF, the Women's Federation for World Peace, the Women's Federation for World Peace, and the Collegiate Association for the Research of Principles.
