Goodness is always followed by happiness. Happiness inspires us to do good, and love is the motive force of God. Our Lord illuminates our hearts with love and goodness and wants us to do the same to others. The way to God is paved with good actions that are welcome to God. Otherwise, we should not even dream about entering the next world.
Tbilisi, Georgia - UPF-Georgia and volunteers from Cote d’Ivoire organized park cleaning project in Tbilisi near the Tbilisi Sea area on May 25. It was the first time for Africans to participate in such program in Georgia, and they were grateful to have such opportunity.

Tbilisi, Georgia - A presentation about the UPF and Ambassadors for Peace activities for members of the Pushkin Society “Orion,” an association of Russian-speaking writers in Georgia, took place on March 12. The event was initiated with the support of the chair of the Russian-speaking Journalists Association, Ambassador for Peace Mikhail Aidinov.
Tbilisi, Georgia - UPF-Georgia in partnership with the local UN office conducted discussion on the topic of “The role of women in peacemaking” on March 6 at the National Youth Palace on the International Women's Day. About 40 young Georgians discussed the meaning of peace, peacemaking, and service, and ways to put an end to violence towards women.
Yekaterinburg, Russia - An electronic bridge was formed n February 25 between Yekaterinburg, Russia, and Tbilisi, Georgia, on the theme of “We Make Peace.” Seeing each other electronically, the participants discussed the deep meaning of such notions as peace, peacemaking, service, the origin of conflicts, and what could and should be done to put an end to violence on the planet.
Tbilisi, Georgia - The first meeting of Ambassadors for Peace in the new year took place on February 12 in the office of the Foundation of Human Development. Its purpose was to review the results of the Universal Peace Federation projects in 2010 and discuss plans for 2011.
Tbilisi, Georgia - At the Palace of Students in Tbilisi, winners from Georgia of the second International Youth Film Festival “Gift” received diplomas and prizes on February 10.

Tbilisi, Georgia - A national festival of cultural diversity, “All – for Georgia; Georgia for all,” was organized by the youth department of the civil movement “Multinational Georgia” on October 22 in Tbilisi. Among the participants were representatives of national Diasporas permanently residing in Georgia, foreign guests, and schoolchildren of Tbilisi.
Tbilisi, Georgia - As part of the "Urals - Georgia: We'll Be Friends" project, the leader of UPF-Georgia, Vitaly Maximov, inspired youth of the Georgia to submit their works to the "Gift" International Youth Film Festival October 8-10 in Yekaterinburg, Russia.
Tbilisi, Georgia - At a consultation sponsored by UPF-Georgia on September 25, participants discussed the prospects for building on interreligious efforts in Georgia to add support for the propsal for an interreligious council at the United Nations.

Tbilisi, Georgia - UPF-Georgia and the Association of Russian-Speaking Journalists of Georgia held a “Brain Ring” intellectual competition on September 20 for high school and university students of different nationalities living in Georgia. In addition, lectures about a culture of peace were given at high schools for Russian and Georgian-speaking students.
Serov and Ekaterinburg, Russia - Two celebrations in the Urals helped build goodwill: an exchange of letters between students in Georgia and Serov, Russia, and exchanges of messages of peace between people in Georgia and Sverdlovsk Regional Medical College in Ekaterinburg.
Tbilisi, Georgia - On May 25, UPF Georgia invited about 20 African students and athletes to our office to learn to know each other. Then we went together to give a presentation at a school, visit a monastery, and enjoy a barbecue.

Tbilisi, Georgia - More than 200 paper doves made by children in the Urals region of Russia with messages of peace, friendship and goodwill for children in Georgia arrived in Georgia in March 2010, in response to messages of goodwill from Georgia students sent the previous September.
