Promoting a healthy lifestyle, the "Zerkalyonok – A Sporting Kid" events attracted about 350 children from St. Petersburg and the Leningrad District. In the News: Discussions in Russia about a Bering Strait Crossing

The UPF vision of a Bering Strait Tunnel could be taking a big step forward. A high-level delegation of Russian diplomats and engineers presented plans for the construction of a tunnel, pipeline and fiber-optic link to US and Canadian officials in April 2007. Tunnel projects have been proposed for more than 100 years, notably by UPF Founder Dr. Sun Myung Moon in 2005.
