Moscow, Russia - The annual conference of UPF-Eurasia on “Pressing Issues of Integration and Building the Culture of Peace in Eurasian Nations” took place in Moscow on April 9, 2011. One hundred and twenty delegates from seven nations acknowledged the importance of peacemaking efforts in the region.

"Guiding Star" Camp for Junior Peace Ambassadors

Komarovo, Russia - After the young people arrived at the camp near St. Petersburg for the Guiding Star program, there followed settling into the accommodations, meeting, welcoming, songs, meeting the coordinators, learning rules, receiving badges, T-shirts, etc. Thus, the March 27-30 camp was launched.

Since then the project has spread to more cities in the Urals, and athletes in Ufa, the capital of the Bashkir Republic of the Russian Federation, took the program over.
